Philanthropy and Volunteer Opportunities
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) supports Ronald McDonald Houses in local communities, as well as funding grants to other not-for-profit organizations whose programs focus on children in need. There are 195 Ronald McDonald Houses in 16 countries, whose function is to provide comfort, care and "a home-away-from-home" for the families of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. In addition to donating money to this worthwhile cause, many Alpha Delta Pi collegiate chapters and alumnae associations spend their time and energy volunteering at these houses. For more information concerning Ronald McDonald House Charities, please visit the RMHC Home Page at www.rmhc.com, or visit the local Kansas City Charity at www.rmhckc.org
We have also served the Ronald McDonald house with our hands and hearts in June of last year, when we provided dinner for over 35 residents.

Commitment to the Alpha Delta Pi international philanthropy, the Ronald McDonald House Charities, was made in 1979 and continues today. Since beginning its association, Alpha Delta Pi has contributed over $2 million to this worthwhile effort.
We at the greater Kansas City Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi support the Ronald McDonald House on 2501 Cherry Street in Kansas City, MO. We try to raise around $3000 each year for the Ronald McDonald House through Pecan Sales. This happens in the Fall every year, so check the gkcadpi.org home page for information.
