February , 2006, 7:00pm-9:00pm
“Self-Defense:
T.A.K.E. Foundation Seminar”
University of
Missouri-Kansas City
Exact Date and Location will be
communicated via E-vite and at www.gkcadpi.org
Don’t miss this class! We will be joining the chapter
members from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Delta Phi Chapter, to
participate in this educational fundraiser.
This program represents a living legacy in honor of Ali Kemp, a 19
year old Leawood resident, who was murdered while working as a lifeguard
at a residential subdivision pool in the summer of 2002.
Ali’s mother, Kathy Bower Kemp, is an Alpha Delta Pi from
Southwest Missouri State, Gamma Mu Chapter.
The goal of this program is to raise awareness and to give women,
young and old, the self-protection skills they need to avoid becoming the
victims of violent crimes. Participants
will learn basic techniques for thwarting an attack, which could save
their lives. This program is
being presented by The Ali Kemp Educational Foundation (T.A.K.E.
Foundation).
Financial donation will be collected for
The Ali Kemp Educational Foundation
